The new Arts Trail will be held on the last Sunday of each month and in line with the dates of the Palms Market days.

Pacific Palms Arts Inc. have established a new Arts Trail to promote local artists, giving you the opportunity to showcase and sell your work to the public on a regular basis. We would like to extend an invitation to all local creative artists and photographers to be part of the new Pacific Palms Self Drive Arts Trail in 2020 and beyond.

How it works...

You register your intention to be available on Palms Market Day dates for a 12 month period ($120.00 Registration Fee). This gives you the opportunity to showcase your works up to 16 times per annum in line with Pacific Palms Market days. You can make yourself available to the public at times that suit you on any of those dates - you choose the hours and the dates that suit you throughout the year. It will be your responsibility to place an Arts Trail advertising teardrop banner in front of your home or studio at those times, so that the public can easily find you in your street, and they can search for Arts Trail information at anytime as the web address will also be on the banner. We have sourced great teardrop banners that you can purchase through Pacific Palms Arts Inc. A one-off charge of $150 per teardrop banner is the cheapest we have been able to source.

Each month we will send all registered creative artists an email to confirm their opening times on the market day/s for that month, so that our website is accurate as to who will be open and at what times. Visitors will only source their self-drive information direct from our up to date website each month. We do not want to be sending them to your place if you are not there.

Creative artists with stalls at the Palms Markets can still register on our site as this provides you with additional advertising for your products and where you can be found. If you do not have a venue suitable for the public to come to, you can also consider collaborating with an artist, who does have a studio, to display your works together.

Artists will have to register to be on the Arts Trail to be able to use this facility.

The small fee you pay goes towards advertising and marketing each month, towards creative arts programmes such as this, and to Bungwahl and Pacific Palms Public Schools arts programmes. All monies are receipted and managed by the Pacific Palms Arts Inc Committee.

Whilst we have our own Public Liability Insurance we strongly advise that you maintain adequate insurance cover appropriate for your own set up at your home/studio/gallery. Registration payment constitutes acknowledgement and understanding of this.

The Market Day dates calendar will be sent to you once you register so that you can plan ahead to be available.
